New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan hasn’t been on the field since their Week 8 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers, but that could change on Monday night against the Miami Dolphins.
According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, all signs point to Hogan playing on Monday night.
Hogan had 5 catches for 60 yards against the Chargers before he sustained a right shoulder injury. He was not able to return to the field during that game, and left the stadium with his arm in a sling.
Prior to the injury, Hogan was well on his way to the best season of his NFL career. His best season statistically was in 2016, when he caught 38 passes for 480 yards and 4 touchdowns. Through eight games in 2017, Hogan has 33 catches for 438 yards and 5 touchdowns.
With the regular season coming to a close, the Patriots will be thrilled to have most of their wide receivers available, minus, of course, Julian Edelman, who is out for the season with a torn right ACL.
Hogan is probably also looking to add few more touchdown receptions to his regular-season total.
