New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Brandin Cooks were excited after a big play against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Cooks caught his fifth touchdown pass of the season in the fourth quarter of the Patriots’ 35-17 victory, and he and Gronkowski got caught up in the moment. He jumped on Gronkowski’s back for a piggyback ride, which was kind of funny. However, when Gronkowski was asked about it, he revealed the coaching staff was not amused.

“We got yelled at; we’re not allowed to talk about celebrations,” said Gronkowski, via Boston 25’s Chad Amaral. “That’s what we got told, but I kinda wanna talk about it. But I kind of don’t because I’ll get in trouble. So, I don’t know what to do.”

Knowing how focused on the next task coach Bill Belichick is, it is not surprising a coaching staff he is in charge of would be upset after that. Especially because Gronkowski’s second touchdown catch of the day was a “group celebration.”
Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola cleared out some space with his foot for a “Gronk spike.”

The funniest part about the Patriots has to be that Belichick and Gronkowski have to work together daily. Gronkowski probably drives his coach crazy.
