Rob Gronkowski tweets for Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas’s NBA All-Star campaign
The New England Patriots earned a 14-2 record, the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC playoffs and home-field advantage throughout the postseason, closing out the regular season strong despite the absence of Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Gronkowski underwent season-ending surgery on his back in Week 13.
He’s been keeping busy during his rehab. Gronkowski filmed a commercial for Madden, attempting to dispel the Madden curse.
He’s also taken to Twitter to help another Boston sports star get some recognition.

The NBA’s All-Star starters are decided 50 percent by fan vote, 25 percent by player vote and 25 percent by media vote. Fans can vote by tweeting a player’s full name and #NBAVote. Retweets also count, so Gronkowski’s message could service Thomas a long, long way.
