After going through an indoor walk through on Wednesday, the 11-2 New England Patriots returned to practice outdoors on Thursday despite sub-freezing temperatures in Boston. It is 23 degrees in Foxborough, Mass. with a wind chill of 9 degrees, a perfect preparation for the weather in Denver on Sunday.
There is an expected low of 3 degrees at Mile High Stadium.
Patriots practice report: Danny Amendola (knee) is the lone absence. It's real cold. pic.twitter.com/FkIw2BFt3Z

On another note, it's so cold out that I can't feel my face. Players, however, were cheering when a frigid breeze blew in. Maniacs.

Danny Amendola only player missing from practice. It's so cold my phone wouldn't let me tweet from outside.

It's so cold at practice that Matt Patricia is wearing pants.

Frigid day. RBs coach Ivan Fears gets his group going before having some fun w/ rookie D.J. Foster (Arizona State). pic.twitter.com/6n9p5pJuTL

That would be a record cold for playing football outside for many of us, D.J.
