New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady isn’t afraid to show his emotions in the heat of battle, so it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that he was spotted going off on offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels on Sunday.
The Patriots had just finished a scoring drive against the Buffalo Bills in their Week 13 matchup on Sunday. Stephen Gostkowski capped a 14-play, 59-yard drive that ate up 6:21 seconds of game clock with a 50-yard field goal.
However, something that happened during the drive clearly bugged Brady and an exchange between he and McDaniels led to some fireworks.

As you can see, Brady blows past McDaniels on the sideline but the long-time Patriots assistant tries to catch up to him only to have Brady turn around and begin screaming at him. McDaniels stays relatively calm, though he’s clearly bothered by the situation.
The pair have worked well together for years now, but they’ve been prone to blowups like this. Brady is 40 years old and McDaniels is 41, and the superstar quarterback has a lot of influence over the offense, so in a lot of ways they’re more like peers than your traditional player-coach relationship.
Ultimately, this isn’t a big deal, but it makes for some pretty interesting television.
