Vince Wilfork compares Patriots-Texans to Alabama and Clemson and Super Bowl XLII
The New England Patriots are heavy, heavy favorites against the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs Saturday.
Head coach Bill O’Brien has already disregarded the betting line.
Now, former Patriots defensive tackle and current Houston Texans star Vince Wilfork has some thoughts on the matter as well, via Ryan Hannable at WEEI.
“I think last night we saw the game with Alabama and Clemson where these so-called experts had Clemson as the underdog,” Wilfork said Tuesday. “In ’07 the experts had the New York Giants as underdogs and both of those teams went on to win the Super Bowl and the National Championship so it goes to show you what these experts know.”
Can the Texans make a historical upset? Tune in Saturday to find out.
