It’s been a seamless transition for Brandin Cooks in his first season in New England. The Patriots often go by the mantra “The Patriot Way.” Cooks has caught on to the ways quick. He described what the phrase means to him.
“Just living in the moment and focusing on the present is huge around here. And not getting too caught up on what happened in the past or what’s going to happen in the future,” Cooks said on ESPN.
The Patriots like the way that Cooks has quickly fit in with the team. He’s added an explosive element to New England’s offense with his ability to stretch the field. The speedy-wideout is the best deep threat in New England since Randy Moss.
Cooks leads the NFL with six catches of 40 yards or more. He tops the Patriots in receptions and receiving yards.
New England possesses a legit No. 1 wide receiver in Cooks, and it seems like he’s getting more comfortable every week.
