New York Giants wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr., and Victor Cruz will wear special cleats Sunday afternoon to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Beckham and Cruz will wear different pairs of cleats during pregame warmups and the game itself to honor the victims and first responders. Cruz’s pregame pair features a special tribute to the New York Fire Department.

The NFL also provided details for its league-wide tributes. Video messages from President Obama and former President George W. Bush will be played at every stadium before kickoff and Vice President Joe Biden will join first responders in Philadelphia for an on-field ceremony during the national anthem before the Browns-Eagles game.
Sunday should be filled with plenty of touching tributes on a day that means much more beyond football. Beckham and Cruz will square off with the Dallas Cowboys Sunday afternoon in Dallas.
