It’s like Antonio Allen never left.
The former safety for the New York Jets is once again, a safety for the New York Jets. Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that Allen signed with the Jets today after being cut by the Houston Texans last week. He had previously signed with them in March.
Allen played in New York for two seasons before he tore his Achilles tendon in training camp in 2015, and had to miss the entire season.
During his last active season he started eight games, recorded 36 tackles and broke up six passes. He was converted from linebacker to defensive back while at South Carolina.
He was selected by Jets in the seventh round of the 2012 draft.
