New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn’t felt the love lately from his team.
Wide receiver Brandon Marshall wanted to make sure his quarterback felt it from somewhere today. He wore a T-shirt in Jets green that read “FitzMagic 2.0.” It also had a helmet in the left-hand corner with a giant beard sticking out of it.
His exact quote to reporters was, “I’m expecting FitzMagic 2.0,” via the New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta.

He also said that maybe things could turn around for Fitzpatrick with a facial hair adjustment.

Fitzpatrick was benched before Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Geno Smith got hurt in the second quarter, so that benching didn’t even last a half. Fitzpatrick then helped lead the Jets to a 24-16 victory.
However, after the game he expressed that he felt his coaches and management stopped believing in him.
In fairness to them if they indeed did lose confidence in Fitzpatrick, he threw 11 interceptions before half the season was over, including 6 in one game.
