Former outside linebacker Quentin Groves died Saturday morning at the age of 32. The cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
Groves was a second-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2008 after he played in college at Auburn. In seven seasons, he also played with the Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns before he finished with the Tennessee Titans for one year in 2014.
Groves appeared in 100 career games with 32 starts. He finished with 159 total tackles, 9.5 sacks and 2 interceptions.
Groves was diagnosed at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, which involves a rapid heartbeat. He underwent an abiation during his playing days and had been cleared to play with the condition.
