On Thursday morning, the NFL announced their selections for the AFC and NFC Player of the Month awards for November.
There were a couple of usual suspects that took home awards, and there were also a handful of first-time winners.
Without further adieu, here is a look at the AFC and NFC Players of the Month for the month of November.
AFC – Offense: Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots
This was Brady’s 10th NFL Player of the Month honor, which is an NFL record. In the month of November, the four-time Super Bowl MVP led the Patriots to a 3-0 record (with all three wins coming in blowout fashion), while completing 73-of-99 passes (73.7%) for 833 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 1 interception.
AFC – Defense: Casey Hayward, CB, Los Angeles Chargers
In the month of November, Hayward recorded 3 interceptions and 8 tackles. The former Vanderbilt standout has emerged as a shutdown cornerback for the Chargers, and has been one of the main reasons why his team has gone 5-2 in their last seven games.
AFC – Special Teams: Justin Tucker, K, Baltimore Ravens
Tucker continues to state his case as the best kicker in the NFL today. For the month of November, the former undrafted free agent was perfect on field goals (6-6) and extra points (8-8). His longest field goal was a 53-yarder against the Houston Texans in Week 12.
NFC – Offense: Case Keenum, QB, Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings have still yet to commit to Keenum as their starter for the remainder of the season, but if he continues to play like he did in November, they will have no choice.
In three games in November, Keenum led the Vikings to a 3-0 record while completing 69-of-97 passes (71.1%) for 866 yards, 7 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. The former undrafted free agent also rushed for 39 yards and 1 touchdown.
NFC – Defense: Cameron Jordan, DE, New Orleans Saints
Jordan has played an integral role in the Saints dramatic turnaround on the defensive side of the ball in 2017. For the month of November, the two-time Pro Bowl selection totaled 3 sacks and 8 tackles in three games.
NFC – Special Teams: Greg Zuerlein, K, Los Angeles Rams
Zuerlein has been simply outstanding in 2017. For the season, the six-year NFL veteran has converted 32-of-34 field goal attempts and 33-of-33 extra point attempts. He currently leads the league in both field goals made and extra points made.
For the month of November, Zuerlein connected on 12-of-12 field goal attempts and 12-of-12 extra point attempts.
