Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins routinely makes absurd maneuvers with his body while the ball is in the air to make ridiculous catches but he outdid himself on Christmas Day against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In the fourth quarter, Hopkins went up for a catch over Steelers defensive back Joe Haden and made an absolutely spectacular play, winning the jump ball, tipping it to himself and then corralling the ball and getting his feet in bounds in time to make the catch. And, unlike several big catches recently, he controlled the football all the way to the ground.

It’s a shame that it came in garbage time of a 34-6 loss, but it was still a spectacular catch and it should absolutely be remembered as the catch of the season.
