Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper will be back on the field for Sunday’s pivotal matchup versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and James Palmer reported that the Raiders top wideout will play in Week 14.
Cooper hasn’t played since suffering a concussion and injuring his ankle in Week 12 against the Denver Broncos. His reemergence is a major boon for Oakland, a team looking to unleash itself from a three-way tie at the top of the AFC West.
The Raiders also will get wide receiver Michael Crabtree back on Sunday. Crabtree returns from a one-game suspension for his role in a scuffle with Denver’s Aqib Talib.
Oakland, Kansas City and the Los Angeles Chargers are tied atop the AFC West with 6-6 records. After Sunday, that three-way deadlock will dwindle down to two, or one team will have a slight lead.
