The Dallas Cowboys are dealing with some injuries at some key positions. It turns out that the Philadelphia Eagles are, too.
Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery appeared on Philly’s injury report on Thursday with ankle ankle injury. Jeffery’s addition to the injury report is somewhat of a surprise since he wasn’t listed on Wednesday’s report.
Jeffery was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice. The sixth-year wideout didn’t seem concerned with his ankle. When asked by reporters if he will play against the Cowboys in Week 11, Jeffery replied “most definitely”, via the team’s official website.
Philadelphia has a good bill of health coming off a Week 10 bye. The same can’t be said for the Cowboys who are expected to be without linebacker Sean Lee due to a hamstring injury and running back Ezekiel Elliott, who is healthy, is serving a suspension. Dallas is hopeful left tackle Tyron Smith can play after being sorely missed last week.
