The Philadelphia Eagles hosted a special, and passionate, guest at practice Monday. Perhaps the Eagles even got some stock tips.
Jim Cramer, the star of CNBC’s “Mad Money” TV show, was invited by coach Doug Pedersen to address the team at practice Monday morning. He even got to break the team down in the huddle. He didn’t reveal what he told the team, but said his message was simple: Take no prisoners.
The Eagles aren’t getting much respect as a NFC contender, but Cramer said he has no problem playing the underdog role.
“The feeling there is so different from the previous years,” Cramer said. “There’s a feeling down there of ‘Everyone’s underestimating us.’ And I like it when you have under-promise, because it means you can over-deliver.”
Clearly, Cramer has two loves: stocks and Eagles football.
