Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is all over the place these days. He’s being funny in commercials, he’s giving candid interviews and, of course, he’s his usual dominant self on the field, much to the dismay of Steelers’ opponents around the league.
He’s also getting fined quite a bit. When he’s not pelvic thrusting and twerking, he’s wearing shoes that violate the NFL’s uniform policies (something he’ll do again this week, presumably). On Friday, he was asked if he was fined for his shoes.
“I pay my fines,” Brown said, via Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “I pay my insurance. I pay my child support. I’m paying attention to you guys right now.”
Brown never seems to have a problem with the media and that statement was surely tongue-in-cheek. He’s a colorful personality but his celebrations and uniform violations will surely result in a lot more fines going from Brown right into the NFL’s pocket.
