Antonio Brown officially active for Steelers against Bengals in Week 13

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown entered Monday night’s matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals listed as questionable with a toe injury, but after taking the field for warm-ups in game pants and his jersey, he’s officially been listed as active according to a report from ESPN’s Lisa Salters.

Brown sprung up on the injury report late in the week after experiencing soreness from a right toe injury. The early indication was that he’d likely be able to play, but his status appeared to become genuinely — not just by NFL standards — questionable as game day approached.

On Monday morning, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that Brown would truly be a game-time decision. However, the megastar popped up on Monday Night Countdown behind Suzy Kolber and the guys in uniform and appeared to be moving pretty well as the Randy Moss and Charles Woodson goaded him and the cameras panned in his direction.

Less than half an hour later, the Steelers put out their official inactive list and Brown’s name wasn’t included. So fantasy football owners and Steelers fan everywhere can rest easy, as they look to hold onto their three-game lead in the AFC North ahead of a Week 14 clash that could seal the division against the Baltimore Ravens.
