Just as the Pittsburgh Steelers injury report looked like it was leaning slightly more positive, a big hit came Friday.
Running back DeAngelo Williams has been ruled out of their game Sunday against the New England Patriots with a knee injury, via Pro Football Talk.
Wide receiver Markus Wheaton also won’t play with a shoulder injury, defensive end Cam Heyward was ruled out earlier in the week with a hamstring injury and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be down for a bit with a torn meniscus.
Other injuries for the Steelers include offensive lineman Marcus Gilbert and safety Shamarko Thomas.
