Villanueva was an Army Ranger before he became a professional football player, and served in Afghanistan. He earned a National Service Medal and Bronze Star.
This isn’t the first time this season that Villanueva has included his teammates in paying tribute the military. On Veterans Day he gave each of them a decal to put on their helmet to represent the 13 different divisions in the Army.
It is great that Villanueva is finding a way to incorporate his teammates in these tributes, especially with the one that he is doing on Sunday. That is some truly outstanding work being done to help the people who have given so much to America.
