The Pittsburgh Steelers certainly have had their fair share of knee injuries at the running back position.
It looks like the team is dealing with another one.
Running back DeAngelo Williams is being hampered by a knee injury. Pittsburgh hasn’t clarified what is exactly wrong with Williams’ knee, but the veteran running back has been getting “maintenance” on his knee, according to PennLive.com.
Evidence of Williams’ injury was apparent last week when the running back had a season-low one carry against the New York Jets.
Despite his ailing knee, the 11-year running back is expect to play this week when the Steelers travel to Miami to play the Dolphins.
Williams has 71 carries for 265 yards this season. He has reached the end zone three times.
