Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier can’t play in the biggest game of the regular season against the New England Patriots, but he still found a way to be part of it.
Early in the first quarter Sunday, the CBS Sports broadcast showed a clip of Shazier at Heinz Field for the game. He was sitting in suite and waiving a Terrible Towel. CBS analyst Tony Romo said the stadium was as loud at that moment as any he has ever heard early in the game, and that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took time to see what was going on.

Unfortunately, Shazier will have to miss at least the rest of this season after an injury he suffered against the Cincinnati Bengals resulted in him needing spinal stabilization surgery.
On Thursday, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center released an update on Shazier, saying that he was still in the hospital and beginning physical rehabilitation.
