The Pittsburgh Steelers’ 31-13 win against the New York Jets was a historic one for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
With the victory, Roethlisberger improved to 20-1 as a starting quarterback all-time at home during the month of October. That’s the best record for an NFL quarterback since 1970.

Roethlisberger was spectacular Sunday afternoon against the Jets, throwing for 380 yards and 4 touchdowns during the emphatic victory.
Big Ben is pretty good in October in general. He’s 32-10 all-time in October throughout his 13-year career with 82 touchdowns and 29 interceptions. The Steelers will travel to Miami for a matchup with the lowly Dolphins before Roethlisberger will get a chance to move to 21-1 when the New England Patriots come to Heinz Field Oct. 23 before heading to the bye week.
