Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown had to clarify what exactly caused him to leave Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots.
Brown told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler that he was injured when a defender kneed him in the quad. He was out of the game momentarily and also took a quick trip to the locker room, but returned shortly after ward and finished with seven receptions for 106 yards.
Brown also emphasized that he feels good. Fortunately for Brown, the Steelers are entering their bye week following their second-consecutive defeat against the Patriots.
The bye couldn’t come at a better time, as there are plenty of Steelers, including quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who need to get healthy.
