The Pittsburgh Steelers could be without wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Schuster first showed up on the injury report Thursday as a limited participant in practice with a hamstring injury. He was again limited in practice on Friday, and is questionable to play against the Patriots.
Schuster was suspended for the Steelers’ last game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Steelers cornerback Joe Haden has also been limited in practice all week while trying to return to the field for the first time since suffering a broken left fibula in Week 10. He is also questionable to play on Sunday.
The Patriots will be without defensive tackle Alan Branch against the Steelers. He suffered a knee injury on Monday night against the Miami Dolphins, and has not practiced all week. However, defensive end Trey Flowers might be able to play after missing two games with a rib injury and is listed as questionable.
The entire list of Patriots players who are questionable to play on Sunday is long. That list includes Flowers, wide receiver Chris Hogan, linebacker Kyle Van Noy and cornerback Stephon Gilmore.
Steelers-Patriots is the featured game so far of the 2017 regular season. Hopefully, most of the players listed as questionable will be able to play in it.
