A great way to inspire unity at work is by providing dinner.
Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey does this for his offensive linemen every Thursday. He invites them to his home for a bonding dinner where they all hang out for the night.
“Honestly [Former Steelers offensive lineman Chris] Kemoeatu started it,” Pouncey said during a Steelers.com feature. “He used to do it all the time when I was a rookie. And honestly, whenever he left it was just something we kind of picked up. I was like ‘well you know what guys, you guys come to my house man. My door is always open.”

This dinner isn’t just a literal ton of chicken wings or trays full of pasta. The meal in the video included shrimp cocktail, lobster tails, crab legs, 32-34 ounce ribeye steaks and nine-layer red velvet and carrot cakes for desert.
Bonding is wonderful, but a meal that good could bring some friends that will never leave.
