Halloween came a few days early for the Seattle Seahawks.
Cornerback Richard Sherman dressed up as Harry Potter during his Wednesday press conference. The game played in those books is quidditch. Sherman is well acquainted with the game having consumed everything Harry Potter in his life, and made a dream team from his Seahawks teammates.
” [For the chasers] we’d go Russell [Wilson], we’d go Jimmy [Graham]— you’ve got to have some size in there — and we’d go Doug [Baldwin], Sherman said via Seahawks.com. Doug has to be one of them, he’d kill me otherwise. They just have great rapport, so we’re going to keep that rapport going. They have great chemistry. They know how to work together in unison and get the job done and get to the goal…line.”
He needed some beef for his “beaters” so he chose Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril. His “keeper” would be cornerback DeShawn Shead and his “seeker of the Golden Snitch” would be Earl Thomas.
Of course, there was no question as to who would coach the team.
“I have to lead this team because nobody else knows the rules,” Sherman said to Seahawks.com.
Sherman’s interview went viral around the internet, and the creator of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling responded.
Did I ever mention that I'm a #Seahawks fan? Well, I am.
(Don't ask me who plays for them apart from R Sherman.)https://t.co/2zoJ8RRKZY
