The Seahawks drafted him in the third round of the 2016 draft out of Notre Dame to help Chrstine Michael and Thomas Rawls fill the big shoes lift by Marshawn Lynch, who retired.
Rawls and Michael have combined for 47 yards on 10 attempts as the Seahawks lead the Dolphins 6-3 at halftime. Prosise was stopped for a loss on his only rushing attempt.
Quarterback Russell Wilson had a solid half, going 16-for-26 for 144 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception. He also has rushed for 12 yards.
For the Dolphins, Arian Foster converted the longest play of the game, a 50-yard reception.
Steven Hauschka buried 2 field goals, 38 and 39 yards, to give the Seahawks the lead at halftime.
Andrew Franks has the only points for the Dolphins. He nailed a 41-yard field goal in the second quarter.
