There is chance that the 2016 season is not lost for Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson.
The Broncos are putting Anderson on injured reserve, but are hoping that he could return for the postseason according to News 9’s Mike Klis.
Anderson underwent surgery for a meniscus tear today. He ran for over 100 yards in a victory against the Houston Texans on Monday night. Unfortunately, that came with a price.
Anderson has been one of the featured running backs for the Broncos since 2014. Rookie Devontae Booker will fill in for Anderson on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.
