Keeping with the trend, an NFL game will be played in London early on Sunday morning as far as the United States is concerned. The Washington Redskins will face the Cincinnati Bengals in the game, and going into it, the big question was whether or not Josh Norman would be able to play.
Norman, who is dealing with a concussion, was not among the gameday inactives on Sunday morning, which is great news for Wahsington because it means they will have their top cornerback in action against A.J. Green, Cincinnati’s top receiver and one of the best playmakers in the league.
The good news kept coming for Washington, who also ruled that tight end Jordan Reed would play for the game. Reed was also in the league’s concussion protocol and had missed Washington’s last two games. In five games, Reed has caught 33 passes for 316 yards with two touchdowns this season.
Norman hasn’t been perfect this season, but Washington will be happy to see him on the field against Green. In seven games, Green has caught 50 passes for 775 yards and three touchdowns this season. The Redskins are trailing in the NFC East and need to win Sunday’s tough outing vs. the Bengals.
