Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman apparently has a bone to pick with the New York Giants that digs far deeper than last year’s feud with Giants wideout Odell Beckham Jr.
Norman reflected upon a horrible experience he had with the franchise in a feature story on ESPN.com, during which he was harassed by the Giants coaching staff in a pre-draft meeting. Norman claims the Giants tried to coax him into admitting that he didn’t respond to coaching.
“They kept asking me the same question, wanting me to admit to something I didn’t do,” Norman told ESPN.com’s Kevin Van Valkenburg. “I ended up breaking down in the room.”
Norman eventually called his agent crying, claiming he would never want to play for the Giants.
The good news is the star cornerback won’t have to play for Big Blue anytime soon. In fact, for the next five years he will get to play against the Giants twice a year.
