DeSean Jackson’s big catch may have come with a price.
He caught a 38-yard pass to get the Washington Redskins into Cincinnati Bengals territory, but he took a helmet-to-helmet shot on the play that was not called for a penalty.
Jackson removed his helmet while on the ground and appeared dazed. As tight end Jordan Reed was scoring a touchdown to give Washington the lead at the time, Jackson went to the locker. He was evaluated for a concussion.
Washington said on its twitter handle that Jackson doesn’t have a concussion, and is questionable to return to the game.
#Redskins WR DeSean Jackson does not have a concussion. He is questionable to return with a head contusion.
